This specimen was lot 437 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €130 (about US$167 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Sweden - 50 Ore 1881, Silver Crowned King's monogram. Rev. denomination and date within wrath. NGC AU58." This type was struck 1875-83, 1898-99, all with mintmaster Emil Brusewitz (initials "EB"). The later dates are fairly common but the early dates are scarce. Altho the weight matches that of the French franc, the fineness and diameter are different and it is unlikely they exchanged.
