This specimen was lot 1472 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $352.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN: Oscar II, 1872-1907, AV 10 kronor, 1880, initials EB, better date, EF, Ex Dr. John Lund Collection." This type was struck in limited numbers 1876-83, 1894-95 but the release of the hoard of the Bank of Sweden in the late nineties made this type common in all grades.

Recorded mintage: 27,000.

Specification: 4.48 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.1296 troy oz AGW.
