This specimen was lot 11444 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Öre, 1874. Stockholm Mint. Oscar II. NGC MS-64 Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Sweden finally adopted decomal coinage in 1873. This is the most common date; being from the first year of issue, it was likely saved as a novelty. The type was struck 1874-77.
