This specimen was lot 3107 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 50 CHF (about US$61 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Oscar II. 1872-1907. 2 Öre 1873, Stockholm. NGC MS63 BN." This date is the final issue of a type struck 1873 only as part of the reform of 1855. In 1873, the riksdaler riksmynt was dropped in favor of the krona and this denomination was reduced to 4 g.
