This specimen was lot 11414 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/6 Riksdaler, 1805 - OL. Stockholm Mint. Gustav IV Adolf. NGC AU-50. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This denomination was introduced in 1776 to replace the 16 öre (KM 513). It must have been a success, as it was struck in large numbers. This type of 1800-09 accompanied a 1/3 riksdaler (KM 551).

Specifications: 6.2 g, 0.691 fine silver, 26 mm diameter, plain edge; this specimen 6.24 g.
