This specimen was lot 11361 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €105 (about US$110). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Mark, 1706 - LC. Stockholm Mint. Karl XII. NGC VF Details--Environmental Damage. Scarce date. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck in modest quantities 1697-1707. The 1706-LC is more available than the 1706-HZ. Eight öre made a mark and six mark made a riksdaler.
Recorded mintage: 110,009, including mintmaster HZ.
Specifications: 5.80 g, 0.694 fine silver, 24.1 mm diameter, this specimen 4.90 g.
