This specimen was lot 78492 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 4 Mark, 1693. Stockholm Mint. Karl XI. PCGS AU-50. From the Richard August Collection." This type, struck 1683-96, is the most common of this denomination struck during the seventeenth century.
