This specimen was lot 11069 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Copenhagen, June 2026), where it sold for €149 (about US$172). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Mark, 1683-DF. Stockholm Mint. Karl XI. NGC VF Details--Reverse Tooled. Scarce date. From the L.E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1683-97. While not rare, its price ascends rapidly with grade. Eight öre made a mark and six mark made a riksdaler.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.
Specification: 5.20 g, 0.694 fine silver, 24-25 mm diameter, this specimen 5.71 g.
