This specimen was lot 11070 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Copenhagen, June 2026), where it sold for €268.40 (about US$310). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 4 Öre, 1683-DF. Stockholm Mint. Karl XI. NGC Fine-15. Rare combination of year 1683 and DF mintmark. From the L.E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1667-84 and 1716-18 in substantial quantities. It is common in worn condition. Eight öre made a mark and six mark made a riksdaler.

Recorded mintage: 202,000.

Specification: 2.92 g, 0.375 fine silver, 23 mm diameter, this specimen 3.40 g.
