This specimen was lot 23636 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $180. The catalog description^[1] noted, "STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. 5 Cents, 1899. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-63. Lightly toned with pink and green highlights." The type was struck in 1871-1901 and this date is somewhat scarce tho not rare.

Recorded mintage: 78,000.

Specification: 1.36 g, 0.800 fine silver, .035 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
