This specimen was lot 24949 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. 20 Cents, 1872-H. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Bold strike, toned and attractive." The type was struck in 1871-1901 and many dates are common but this one is scarce.
Recorded mintage: 40,000.
