St. Gall 1732-GR 6 kreuzer
This specimen was part of lot 4301 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Stadt und Kanton. 15 Kreuzer 1734, St. Gallen. 6 Kreuzer 1732. Beide mit Mzz. Schlange auf der Vorderseite und GR auf der Rückseite. Lot von 2 Exemplaren. 15 Kreuzer 1734: Sehr selten. Sehr schön. 15 Kreuzer 1734 Avers: Feld geglättet. (Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, fifteen kreuzer of 1734 and six kreuzer of 1732, St. Gall mint. variety with a snake mintmark on the obverse and "GR" on the reverse. Very Fine, two pieces.)"
This type was struck 1725-34, 1739, and is fairly common in worn condition. The auctioneers missed the obvious 1732/1 overdate, not mentioned in the SCWC.
