This specimen was lot 3004 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 60 € (about US$78 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1957*73. Franco. 25 pesetas. Proof." This type was for circulation 1958-60, 1964-72 and 1974-75 and most dates are common. This date was struck only in proof. Altho the date below the bust is 1957, the actual date is in the stars on the reverse; Spain was the only country to do this.

Specifications: copper-nickel, 8.5 g, 26.5 mm diameter, this specimen 8,54 g.
