This specimen was lot 2725 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "KOREA (SOUTH): Republic, 10 won, 1970, Pagoda at Pul Guk Temple, variety in brass, NGC graded MS64." The South Korean regime struck the ten won in bronze 1966-70 and in brass after 1970. This type was struck 1970-82 but this and the 1977 are the only scarce dates. Proofs were struck in 1982.
