This specimen was lot 46134 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Solms-Lich. 3 Kreuzer, 1614. Ernst II. NGC MS-62." Solms-Lich and Solms-Hohensolms merged in 1718 to form Solms-Hohensohms-Lich, which family still resides in Lich castle. Solms is a county and principality of extreme obscurity in Hesse. Most of the coinage came from Solms-Laubach. This type was struck 1613-17.
