Sincona sale 34, lot 4221

This specimen was lot 4221 in Sincona sale 34 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,612 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Ferdinand III. 1637-1657 Taler 1650. Breslau Münzmeister Georg Hübner. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand III, 1637-57, thaler of 1650, Breslau mint, mintmaster Georg Hübner. Very fine-extremely fine.)"

The SCWC lists this type of 1639-55 as rare. It mentions assayer's initials G-I for 1650, not G-H as is clearly visible here.
