This specimen was lot 851 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "SIKH EMPIRE: AR rupee, Lahore, VS1841, first years of the reform type (nanakshahi instead of gobindshahi), superb example on broad flan, EF." This product of the Lahore mint is noted for VS1841-1856. Other mints included Amritsar and Multan.
