This specimen was lot 853 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "SIKH EMPIRE: AR rupee, Multan, VS1832, struck during the first Sikh occupation of Multan, VF-EF, RR, ex Jess A. Yockers Collection." This product of the Multan mint is noted for VS1829-1836. Lahore was the first mint in the Sikh empire to issue rupees, in VS 1822; Multan was second.
