This specimen was lot 1547 in Jean Elsen sale 112 (Brussels, March 2012) where it sold for €90 (about US$141 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, SCHWARZBURG-RUDOLSTADT, Friedrich Günther (1807-1867), AR Vereinstaler, 1866, Très Beau. (Germany, principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, Frederick Gunther, 1807-67, silver union thaler of 1866, very fine.)"
Despite the tiny mintage, this coin is not especially expensive, suggesting that it was extensively saved.
Recorded mintage: 27,000.
Specification: 18.52 g, 0.900 fine silver, .536 troy oz ASW.
