This five mark piece was issued from the Muldenhutten mint for king Albert of Saxony in 1898. His younger brother Georg survived him by only two years, to be succeeded by his son Friedrich Albert III in 1904. This type, struck 1891-1902, is rather scarce.
Recorded mintage: 160,000.
Specification: 27.77 g, 0.900 fine silver, .803 troy oz ASW, 38 mm diameter, lettered edge.
