This specimen was lot 74631 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $109. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. Pfennig, 1707-ILH. Dresden Mint. Friedrich August I. NGC MS-62." This type was struck 1698-1733 and is common. The initials ILH stand for Johann Lorenz Holland, mintmaster at Dresden 1698-1716. One thaler was 288 pfennige.
