This specimen was lot 1232 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 5,250 CHF (about US$6,296 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Sachsen, Kurfürstentum, Friedrich August I. 1694-1733 2 Dukaten 1702. Leipzig Münzzeichen E P H · (Ernst Peter Hecht, Münzmeister in Leipzig 1693-1714). Gutes sehr schön. Leicht gewellt. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, Frederick August I, 1694-1733, double ducat of 1702, Leipzig mint. Good very fine, Lightly wavy planchet.)"
Catalog number Fr-2804 (double ducat) was minted 1702 and 1712. it was accompanied by a single ducat (Fr-2806), both rare.
