Sarawak, a British colony on the northwest coast of Borneo, was ruled by a dynasty of white rajahs from 1841 to 1946. This type was issued 1900 and 1906-15 from Heaton. It is somewhat scarce even in low grade but expensive in nice condition. It is accompanied by silver five, twenty and fifty cents.
Recorded mintage: 100,000 plus a few proofs.
Specification: 2.71 g, 0.800 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW.
