The first specimen was lot 4314 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it sold for $88. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sarawak. 10 Cents, 1910-H. Toned. NGC graded AU-55. Ex: Remick Collection." The second specimen was lot 58361 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[2] noted, "SARAWAK. 10 Cents, 1910-H. Birmingham (Heaton) Mint. Charles J. Brooke. PCGS SPECIMEN-62. From the Selvaraj Collection." Sarawak, a British colony on the northwest coast of Borneo, was ruled by a dynasty of white rajahs from 1841 to 1946. This type was issued 1900 and 1906-15 from Heaton. It is somewhat scarce even in low grade but expensive in nice condition. It is accompanied by silver five, twenty and fifty cents.

Recorded mintage: 50,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 2.71 g, 0.800 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW.
