This specimen was lot 30350 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,232.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Salzburg. Andreas Jakob gold Ducat 1747, MS62 NGC. Very scarce for both the type and grade. This piece is well struck and has appealingly toned mint luster. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman / B.G. Johnson." A portrait ducat (KM 349) also exists for 1747. This type was struck until 1752 alongside Fr-856.
