Künker sale 406, lot 4650

This specimen was lot 4650 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €320 (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DIE GEISTLICHKEIT IN DEN HABSBURGISCHEN ERBLANDEN, SALZBURG, Johann Jakob Khuen von Belasi, 1560-1586. Taler 1565. Hübsche Patina, kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, fast vorzüglich. (archbishopric of Salzburg, Johann Jakob Khuen von Belasi, 1560-86, thaler of 1565. Handsome patina, minor edge defects, about extremely fine.)"

The SCWC lists this type for 1565 only but others are known dated 1561 or undated. St. Rupert also comes in different poses.
