This specimen was lot 74519 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 50 Roubles, 2012-CNMA. St. Petersburg Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating the 1150th anniversary of the origin of the Russian statehood. A stunningly flawless example, this type presents an obverse with a great deal of frosting and minimal fields which glisten with mirrored brilliance." Other fifty rubles for 2012 include KM Y1049, Y1341, Y1349, Y1365, Y1376 and Y1506.
