Sincona sale 97, lot 2266

This specimen was lot 2266 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$1,161 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, 50 Roubles 2011, St. Petersburg Mint. Bicentenary of internal troops. Selten. Nur 750 Exemplare geprägt. Rare. Only 750 specimens struck. NGC PF70 ULTRA CAMEO."

Another fifty rubles of 2011 (KM Y1291) marked the annexation of Buryatia in 1661.

Recorded mintage: 750 proofs.

Specifications: 7.89 g, 0.999 fine gold, 22.6 mm diameter, reeded edge.
