This specimen was lot 74520 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 50 Roubles, 2012-CNMA. St. Petersburg Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the victory in Patriotic War of 1812. Featuring the left-facing bust of Gen. M. I. Kutuzov, this specimen offers she[e]r perfection, dazzling with its expansive fields that allow for great mirrored brilliance." Other fifty rubles for 2012 include KM Y1049, Y1341, Y1369, Y1365, Y1376 and Y1506.
