Russia 1971 20 kopeks
The first specimen was lot 25918 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $587.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "U.S.S.R. Proof 20 Kopecks 1971, PR66 PCGS. Obv. National Arms. Rev. Date and value within wheat sprigs. Superbly struck, with fully mirrored fields and a few minor spots, but nothing worthy of individual mention. Very rare and unlisted in Proof." The second specimen was part of lot 36564 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), which sold for $399.50. The catalog description[2] noted, "Four Scarce Issues from a 1971 Mint Set as Follows: 5, 15, 20, and, 50 Kopecks, KM-Y129a, Y131, Y132, and Y133a.2. All are Uncirculated, the 5 Kopecks with some spotting. All four are very scarce issues." The mintages of this type produced 1961-91 are not recorded but most dates are common. The years 1965-76 must have seen a cutback in production as all those dates are scarce. Proofs are unlisted.
