This specimen was lot 75285 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Denga (1/2 Kopek), 1812-NM NC. Izhora Mint. Alexander I. NGC MS-62 Brown. The finest graded example by NGC, and the only Mint State specimen, this piece is truly an enchantress with the precisely struck devices and attractive satiny surfaces." This type was struck 1810-14 at Izhora (shown here), Kolyvan and St. Petersburg. It is not common.
