This specimen was lot 30644 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 5 Kopeks, 1758-CNB. St. Petersburg Mint. Elizabeth. NGC MS-63. A charming little minor, this choice denomination offers charming strike quality and impressive all around details. Softly lustrous and entirely appealing, this piece is assured a number of handsome bids. From the Sigma Collection." This type was struck 1756-61 and has a fairly low price in the SCWC. This denomination was also struck in copper in 1758 (KM C9.1).
