This specimen was lot 67 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 28,000 (about US$35,089 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1]Shiryakov noted, "5 Kopecks 1714, Red Mint. Very rare. 30 roubles according to Petrov!! Minor planchet defects. About extremely fine." This billon five kopeks of 1713-14 is mentioned but not priced in the SCWC. The five kopeks in copper and in silver was a workhorse denomination and was struck in large numbers from multiple mints, especially after 1758.
