This specimen was lot 36188 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), where it sold for $4,935. The catalog description[1] noted, "Peter I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) ND (1710), Kadashevsky mint, An extremely rare type, this example has details of a near-VF example, with several problems. The reverse displays large flan flaws, while the obverse fields show extensive smoothing in both the left and right fields. Some of this extends into the right legend, somewhat defacing a few of the letters. Ex: Rauch Auction November 161977, Lot 889. Ex: Sotheby's sale of the Fuch's Collection, 1996, Lot 67."
