This specimen was lot 20403 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $1,997.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Regensburg. Taler, 1786-GCB. Anton Ignaz Josef von Fugger-Glott (1769-87). PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder. Sharply struck with pleasing stony grey tone throughout and bursts of golden amber highlights. Excellent eye appeal." Like most thalers of Regensburg, this one year type is expensive. Unlike the better known city thalers, this one was issued by the bishop.
