This specimen was lot 1274 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$454 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Empire | Preussen, Königreich, Wilhelm II. 1888-1918. 20 Mark 1899 A, Berlin. Vorzüglich von polierten Stempeln. Kleine Kratzer. (German empire, kingdom of Prussia, William II, 1888-1918, twenty mark of 1899, Berlin mint. Extremely fine from polished dies, Small scratches.)"
This type, issued 1890-1913, is common and is a product of the Berlin mint (mintmark "A").
