This specimen was lot 6521 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €13,000 (about US$18,092 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, PREUSSEN, Wilhelm II. 1888-1918. 10 Mark 1889, A. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Polierte Platte. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, William II, 1888-1918, ten mark of 1889. Very scarce in this quality, proof.)"
