This specimen was lot 3248 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,000 (about US$2,784 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm I. der Soldatenkönig, 1713-1740. Dukat 1730, EGN, Berlin. Münzmeister Ernst Georg Neubauer. GOLD. Min. gewellt, sehr schön +. Exemplar der Auktion Möller 7, Kassel 1991, Nr. 319. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William I, the Soldier King, 1713-40, ducat of 1730, Berlin mint. Slightly wavy, very fine or better.)"
This type is listed for 1725-32 with all dates being rare. Issues of ducats in Prussia, never prolific, dwindled after the introduction of the frederick d'or in the 1740's.
