Prussia 1725-IGN 1/12 thaler
This specimen was lot 3275 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €140 (about US$195 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm I. der Soldatenkönig, 1713-1740. 1/12 Taler 1725, IGN, Berlin. Mit Wertangabe unter dem Monogramm und ovalem Wappenschild. Münzmeister Johann Georg Neubauer. Vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William I, the Soldier King, 1713-40, one-twelfth thaler of 1725, Berlin mint, with the value under the monogram and oval arms. Extremely fine.)"
This type was struck at Berlin 1719-25 and is considered common.
