This specimen was lot 74259 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Upper Canada. Prince Edward Island. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, ND (1835). PCGS MS-62 Brown. Plain edge. Medal alignment. Obverse: "SHIPS COLONIES & COMMERCE"; Reverse: Ship sailing right. A lovely example with medium brown tone and hints of mint red in the protected areas." This token is unlisted in the SCWC. It varies from an issue of 1829 in the flag waving from the ship's stern.
