This specimen was lot 1354 in UBS sale 84 (Basel, January 2010). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PORTUGAL (Münzstätte Lissabon) João V. 1706-1750. Peça 1749. Belorbeertes Brustbild nach rechts, darunter die Jahreszahl. Rv. Wappen auf gekrönter Wappenkartusche. Kl. Kr. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich." (Portugal, Lisbon mint, John V, 1706-50, gold "joe" of 1749. Obv: draped bust to right, date below. Rev: Baroque arms. Extremely fine to good extremely fine).
This type was struck 1723-50 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.
