This specimen was lot 3074 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,612 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PORTUGAL. João V. 1706-1750 Peca 1743. Lissabon. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. (kingdom of Portugal, John V, 1706-50, 6400 réis of 1743, Lisbon mint. About extremely fine-extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1723-50 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.
