This type was struck 1689-1706 and has a fairly low value in the SCWC but is seldom seen. This specimen is a product of the Porto mint; similar issues from Lisbon bear rosettes instead of "P's" and are undated. Despite being marked "LXXX", it was worth 100 réis or one tostao.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.5 g, 0.917 fine silver, 22 mm diameter.
