This specimen was lot 46727 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Pomerania-Stettin. 1/24 Taler, 1619. Szczecin Mint. Bogislaus XIV. ANACS AU-53." The SCWC notes that this was coined for Rügenwalde (now Darłowo, pop. 13,324 as of 2021), a port on the Baltic Sea. It is known for 1618-20, all with two digit dates. Varieties exist. On the death of the last native duke in 1637, Pomerania was contested between Sweden and Brandenburg until they agreed to partition it by the Peace of Westphalia in 1648.
