This specimen was lot 47387 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 5 Zlotych, 1960. PCGS MS-66. From the Dr. Michael Vale Collection." This type was struck 1958-60 and 1971-74 and is not rare but has a substantial catalog value in gem condition.
Recorded mintage: 16,300,881.
Specifications: 3.45 g, aluminum, 29 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by W. Jastrebowski and J. Goslawski.
