This specimen was lot 71491 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $75. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Grosz, 1938. Warsaw Mint. NGC MS-64 Red Brown. A charming red-brown Near Gem, this piece presents a good deal of radiating luster and only some lightly scattered spotting." This type was struck in Warsaw 1923-39 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 20,530,000.
