This specimen was lot 76132 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 3 Grosze, 1811-IB. Warsaw Mint. Friedrich August I. PCGS EF-40." The Grand Duchy of Warsaw was created by Napoleon and granted to his ally, King Frederick August I of Saxony, who held it from 1807 to 1815. This type was struck 1810-14 and has a low catalog value. Poland returned to Russian rule after the Congress of Vienna.
