This specimen was lot 25489 in Heritage sale 3015 (Long Beach, September 2011), where it sold for $5,750. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sigismund III Talar 1628, AU58 PCGS, a handsome example with aged gray and gold patina and exceptionally bold design features. Rare and desirable in this select quality." The SCWC lists numerous varieties of this coin issued 1625-33.
