The specimen shown is a steel five sentimo of the new circulating type. This piece has a face value (July 2023) of about 1/1090 dollar and was struck 2017-19. The obverse is the Philippine seal. The reverse depicts the kapal-kapal baging (Hoya pubicalyx) flower.

Specification: 2.2 g, nickel plated steel, 16 mm diameter, plain edge.
