Struck at the United States mint in 1961 for the Philippines. This type commemorated the centennial of the birth of José Rizal, hero of the struggle for independence from Spain and is accompanied by a silver peso (KM 192). It was hoarded and is common today.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 12.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .361 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
